These are my latest finishes and will be made into ornies for the ornie exchange

This is my Wal D'Champs 2010 Rose Garden Sampler Progress. It is very slow going but it stitches up beautifully, just a shame I am so far behind already lol.

This is called the counted stitch by Jane Greenoff, I started it a couple of days ago, below is the progress.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter xx

SAL progress

Progress of the last few days of my stitching, not been stitching on much this last week.

day 1 of Wal D'Champs January 31st progress

Day 2 and 3 progress

Febraury 5th progress, now its starting to take shape.
Today I received a belated christmas present off my DH. Sewandso had been waiting for one of the charts I wanted to come back into stock but sadly it has been discontinued but they sent out the L*K lessons for me which arrived today.
I am taking 3 of the kids to my sister's this afternoon for one of my nephews birthdays but we have to be back early as one of my kids is going to a party at 7pm just down the road from us in the local community center. I also have a cake to bake at some point too but going to fit in a bit more stitching lol

Wal D'Champs 2010/11 SAL

Here is my fabric and thread selection for the Wal D'Champs 2010/11 SAL
This is being stitched on 28 ct britney in antique white with the DMC threads needed 367, 368,
335, 3326, 890 and 309. This will be my largest project EVER, I hope I can stick with it and get it completed at the end of 2011.
Not alot been going on this week, I have been battling a cough and cold all week I shall be glad to see the back of it now. I have been stitching on my AAN christmas tree on and off too
On a good note, one of my friends gave birth this week in her bathroom to a bouncing baby girl weighing in at 8lb 14.5 oz I shall be able to go see her once this cough and cold has gone.
Its so very quiet in my house right now, DH is in bed and all but 1 of the kids are out and about taking advantage of the sunny weather and doing homework so I think I am going to make a start on this HUGE sampler while its quiet enough too.
Happy weekend!

This is my version of Tonia's OHD monthly SAL stitched on white 14 ct aida with the threads called for. Now I am looking forward to stitching up Februaury's.
This week has been a very busy week I think Monday was the quietest day. Tuesday we took Stace to the hospital to have her switch/reveal device taken out of her chest after it being in there for nearly 2 years. All went well there. While out and about and Stace having her minor surgery we went shopping for my wedding anniversary present. Dave bought me a beautiful ring to celebrate 19 years of marriage on the 26th!
Thursday saw Sarah coming up to exchange christmas gifts what we call our Christmas in January but without all the trimmings. She spoilt me ROTTEN with lots and lots of gifts. Thursday night was tinged with a little bit of sadness as Billy my 3 1/2 yr old budgie died, the house seems a little emptier now he has gone but its not fair to get another one with the cats in the house.
Friday we went to see Lisa what a journey that was, the rain was so bad in the motorway you couldn't really see the car in front of you even with their lights on. Had a lovely time at Lisa's managed to get a new project started another monochrome design by AAN, no progress photo of that yet will take one when its got a little more to show.
Now i'm looking forward to a quieter week this coming week :-)

13 January

This is the progress on my quaker heart sampler, I am hoping to get this completed over the next couple of days then I can move on to starting another SAL.

Oh the weather outside is frightful lol. We have yet more snow today which is highly unusual for this part of the country. We thought the snow had eased off now and had started to melt away but this is how my front and back garden looked about an hour ago. The snow has been falling since early this morning and hasn't let up since!

slow stitching

Don't know whats wrong with me right now, none of my stitching seems to be stitching up very well or quickly could be something to do with the kids being home pestering us to do things or fighting and falling out. I will pick it back up again tomorrow when they are back in school.

Weather wise, we have had the coldest week in an awfully long time with snow thrown in for good measure too. Today sees a slight thaw but there is more snow forecast, talking of which its starting to snow again now though not enough to make any real difference. What does bug me is that we get an inch or so of snow and the schools start closing down and other stuff starts getting delayed anyone would think we had never seen snow before! I will get off my soapbox now I have said my piece lol

I'm going back to my quaker heart now as I would like to get it stitched up soon so I can make a start on on the Oakhaven Designs yahoo group Months SAL.

Happy stitching xx
